Medical Marijuana Laws At Illinois

In Illinois, marijuana is legal for both medical and recreational use. Well, Illinois has become the eleventh state in the US to legalize recreational marijuana on January 1, 2020. In the year 1931, Illinois prohibited the recreational use of cannabis. Later on, In 1978, Illinois passed the Cannabis Control Act that legally allows for medical marijuana. Illinois passed its first viable medical cannabis law in 2013. This bill legalizes the cultivation, sale, and use of medical marijuana in the state.
